This website is based on the premise that teachers matter, that parents matter -- that anyone who positively or negatively impacts the life of a child makes a significant impact on the future of our world.

 It is our goal to help you make an impact that is positive, to help you do whatever is reasonably within your power to help the children that you interact with become positively empowered -- encouraged, inspired -- to bring forth their gifts, to nurture what is best in them, and to make peace with who they are, what they are going through, and what has influenced them.

This may sound like a lofty ideal, a tough role to fill. But consider: you do this every time you smile at a child, every time you listen when they are struggling to tell you something of importance to them, and every time you go with your gut instinct, your inner truth rather than societal norm, and say, "No, I won't -- I won't do that to a child. I don't believe that's loving or appropriate."

This site aims to provide you with the information, encouragement, and connection to resources to help you be a better teacher, companion, or caregiver through nurturing your inner truth and wellness and through discovering what others have learned about how to nurture the inner light of children.
